The rules of using SMOVECITY.

Plain English version: use the app and the site for what they're for — planning trips, moving through cities, sharing photos with friends — be respectful to other users, don't break local laws, and remember that mobility operators and booking partners have their own terms too. 1. Who provides this service

The website at smove.city and the SMOVECITY mobile application (collectively the "Service") are provided by SMOVE.CITY LIMITED, a private company limited by shares registered in the Republic of Cyprus under company number HE 406652, with registered office at 81, Griva Digeni Avenue, 6043 Larnaca, Cyprus. By installing the app or using the website you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Your account

Some features (group chat, friend live-location sharing, saved itineraries) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account — younger users need a parent or guardian's permission. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that are used to abuse the platform or other users.

3. Acceptable use

Use SMOVECITY for personal, non-commercial trip planning, mobility and travel. You agree not to:

(a) scrape, harvest or systematically copy our content or our partners' content; (b) reverse-engineer the app or attempt to extract credentials or API keys; (c) use the platform to harass, threaten, stalk, defraud or impersonate any person; (d) post or transmit material that is illegal, hateful, defamatory or that infringes someone else's rights; (e) interfere with the operation of the Service or with other users' enjoyment of it; or (f) use the Service in any way that violates a local law that applies to you.

4. Posts, photos and messages

SMOVECITY lets you post trip photos, comments, group-chat messages and direct messages. You retain ownership of the content you post, but you grant SMOVECITY a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display and transmit that content as needed to operate the Service. We do not sell user-generated content to third parties.

You can Report any post, message or user that violates these Terms; we review reports within 24 hours during business days. You can Block any user from your profile, which immediately hides their content and prevents them from contacting you. We may remove content or restrict accounts without notice where the content is illegal or where action is required to protect users.

5. Bookings through third-party partners

SMOVECITY surfaces booking options for flights (via Aviasales / Travelpayouts), hotels (Hotellook), attractions and tours (Tiqets, WeGoTrip), airport transfers (GetTransfer) and eSIM data (Yesim). When you click a booking option, you are taken to the partner's own platform and your booking, payment, ticketing and cancellation are governed by that partner's terms and policies — not ours. SMOVECITY earns an affiliate commission on most bookings; the price you pay is the same as booking direct.

We pre-screen the partners we surface, but we do not warrant or guarantee any specific booking, fare, schedule, or service quality delivered by a partner.

6. Fees and free use

The SMOVECITY app is free to download from the App Store and free to use for trip planning, routing and live transit. Some optional premium features may be introduced in the future with clear in-app disclosure before any charge.

Mobility operators (bike-share, scooter-share, ride-hail, transit) charge their own fares for the actual ride. Those fares are collected by the operator and not by SMOVECITY.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, remove or modify features at any time; material changes that reduce functionality will be communicated through the app or by email where you've provided one.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Cypriot and EU consumer law, SMOVE.CITY LIMITED is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including without limitation lost profits, lost data, missed connections, travel delays caused by transit operators, or losses arising from any third-party booking partner. Our total aggregate liability for any direct claim is capped at the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free users, is zero). Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app or by writing to contact@smove.city to request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your use poses a security risk, or if a legal authority requires it. On termination, content you posted may be removed; data we keep for legal compliance is governed by the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes — anything that meaningfully affects your rights — will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and continued use after that period means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory EU consumer protections that apply in your country of residence are not affected. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by writing to contact@smove.city may be brought before the courts of Larnaca, Cyprus, or, where you are an EU consumer, before the courts of your country of residence.
