A few streets away, this relaxed neighbourhood tavern pours Augustiner lager the way it should be poured — cold, unhurried, and without ceremony. The schnitzel and liver spätzle make an excellent late accompaniment if lunch was lighter than planned. This is Haidhausen at its most comfortable.
